Prayer

Truly, the greatest gift that anyone can give is to simply pray for us. Prayer costs us nothing but a few moments of our time. It is something that everyone can give and it is unquestionably one of the most powerful things that we can do for each other. The ranch facilities, children, and horses are in constant need of protection, wisdom, and direction. Those who choose to lift us up in prayer are an incredible gift to us and the children and horses we serve.

Cash Donations

Although for participants and visitors the ranch is free of charge, running and maintaining such a facility is not. All cash donations are greatly appreciated.

How do I donate?

There are a number of ways to donate to the ranch:

Via Check, Money Order or PayPal

You can make donations payable to GGYR or Galloping Grace Youth Ranch and send them to the ranch mailing address:

P.O. Box 44186

Rio Rancho, NM 87174

United Way of Central New Mexico Link HERE.

You can also donate through the United Way and designate the donation to Galloping Grace Youth Ranch.

You can also use our PayPal donation link.

If I make a donation, where does it go?

Unless otherwise designated by the giver, all monetary donations go into the general operating fund. These funds are used to pay for program expenses, ranch maintenance, and horse care.

Are donations tax deductible?

Because GGYR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we can supply tax receipts for any donations including but not limited to, monetary donations, horse tack, ranch equipment, feed, land, building supplies, and even horses.

How can I get financials for the ranch?

Visit our "Contact Us" page, and send a request for a financial statement.

Can I donate my tack and/or horse equipment?

God provides and we have most of what we need in regards to tack. However, we're always on the lookout for something that will make our little tack room complete. We want donors to be aware that if we are unable to use tack, we will find a good home for it or sell it to raise funds for the ranch. Many individuals may prefer to sell tack themselves and donate part of the proceeds to the ranch - we will gladly accept that also.

Can I donate my horse to the ranch?

We have accepted horses from many types of situations in the past. Horses kept by the ranch that are donated, rescued, or purchased for the program must demonstrate an aptitude for acceptance of children and a willingness to work. Ranch horses can be used in our lesson program up to four times per day and must be physically and mentally capable to do so. Because of this, we are selective in the horses we accept as donations. The ranch is rarely able to accept horses with limitations due to age, behavior problems, or soundness.

Can you tell me about employment opportunities at Galloping Grace?

Currently GGYR operates solely on volunteer help. We hope to one day have an operating budget that enables us to have paid staff running the ranch. Until that time, we greatly encourage and appreciate any time you may want to put in at the ranch.
