Black And His Bud

And to think this ol’ dude used to be really head shy.

Well, truth be told–he much prefers the little ones getting near his face. Makes me chuckle thinking how different his life is now.  Gone are cattle drives and roping all day.  Now, hugs from wee ones and delicious senior feed.  Life is good.  Do you think he ever misses bossing cows around?

Black, we’re so happy to be a part of your golden years.

    So sweet. He probably dreams of nipping a cow sometimes, but his reality of lots of love is better.

    You’re right. When I first started at the ranch Black was definitely more head shy. I guess we all mellow some in our old age.

    Candido told me and Trish this past weekend black was born in 1980! Last year he said 1977! He IS getting younger!
