The Slacker

Remember back when I had jury duty? What a relaxing two weeks of my life that was. I got to sit there reading my People magazine (don’t be hating–quality reading material) for hours at a time with not a care in the world.

Monday morning Cowboy Max gets to go have his fun. He gets to do it for three weeks instead of my two. Figures. Pretty convenient on his part to pull duty during the freezing cold time of year. Now the feeding falls to me. Ah, the humanity.
So tell me– if horses are slightly plump, should they really be fed every day?
Just wondering.
Tristan–Happy Birthday, sweet niece. Love you.
Mom–thanks for being the greatest mama in the whole world! Happy Birthday to you! I love you.

Wow, what is it with you guys and jury duty? Can't Max feed the horses before jury duty? :)

BTW- Great to see you this morning at church.

  2. Sam

Yeah, I probably shouldn't be fed every day, either. Good point! :)

And I won't be hating on your People. I love a good magazine op as much as the next girl. ;)

Wow, that's a long time to spend on jury duty! I had jury duty last spring, and ended up on a trial. It last a week. It was quite interesting!!
    I love People magazine!!

    Happy Birthday Juju!
The horses can wait until after jury duty. The court house closes by 4:30.

Fond memories, my friend. The very first time I came out to the ranch, you weren't there because you were at jury duty.

I told you I would help..and yes, even if seabiscuit looks like he doesn't need to eat, he does. I think..
    Happy Birthday Julie!

I'll meet you for a morning coffee at the ranch….we'll have a picnic. You bring the half & half. I'll bring the java.

Girl I always get called to jury duty, but I have never had to do it. I am always out of state when it happens, and then a hurricane saved me from doing it one year. But I think I would have rather done jury duty than loose my house……oh well!! it all worked out! I hope max has fun!

Wondering why you guys keep getting called up for jury duty. Never in my 44 years have I been asked to pull jury duty. I'm glad, though. But I wonder how some people get chosen while others do not.
Are you and Max marked in some way?

    lol!
