Thankful Thursday–Money Edition

In past Thankful Thursday posts I have told you about a lot of the wonderful donations and services we’ve received for Galloping Grace–things like saddles and horses, wood, and sand. (And much, much more.) We are some blessed people! What I have been dilatory in telling you about are all the people who have made monetary donations to The Ranch. It’s awkward for me. Would it be apropos and would someone appreciate me announcing their gift here on the blog? Should I, in future instances, require the giver to pose with a check? ;) What about the people that donate money every month? Would they mind me telling the world they do that? (Dan and Betty, Mom, do you mind?) What about the person who recently donated $1000?! How cool and generous is that? Tacky or appropriate to give his/her name? I don’t know. How about that person’s initials–R.W. Dearest R.W., thank you so very much!! We were blown away by your donation!

Because I do not know the correct protocol for this kind of gratitude, I’m going to just play it safe for now. If you are one of the people who have donated money to GG, please know that we sincerely appreciate your generosity!

Thanks for helping us bring pure joy to children.

We couldn’t do it without you.

That is Awesome!! (And what cute pictures!)

Is the word of the day: dilatory?

Nice tribute! It just take a little from a lot of people to make a place like GG work successfully. I am sure they know you appreciate them, and can see it in the children that visit. vpwt

Well, we can’t speak for “Mom,” but I guess the cat’s out of the bag for us – which is both apropos and dilatory I guess.

Anyway, it’s God’s money, not ours, so He’s the one who should get the credit.

    Keep up the good work.

Hey-I recognize one of those children, well, I recognize more but I can lay claim to one of them is what I meant! I love that one of Misha’s little girl too (wasn’t sure how to spell it!). You all have done well and have inspired many people. I’m only sorry we can’t get out there to help you more…..we’ve kind of got our own youth ranch to wrangle with..ha-ha. I left you a surprise on my blog when you get the chance to check it!!

    That is so sweet!

I want to say something sarcastic, but for once, I can’t think of anything. ;)

Wonderful. Here I posted a tasteless post about calf balls and you are all sweet and thankful. Geez, Wades. What’s up?

Seriously, we are very happy to hear about others joining in with God’s work at your youth ranch. We look forward to visiting in person some day and seeing some “pure joy” in person.
